We’re raw, real, and rooted in cultures. It’s more than just a meal — it’s about people, connection, and sharing stories over food that actually means something.

About Kobop

Kobop started in 2023 as a tiny taco cart on a VCU campus — just three tacos, one mission: make Korean BBQ flavors familiar, affordable, and accessible. With 3 items on the menu — Bulgogi Beef, Gochujang Pork, and Gochujang Tofu tacos — word spread fast and the hype grew fast.

After a year grinding it out on the streets, we’ve finally found a home inside Väsen Brewing in Forest Hill. This is just the beginning. Follow along and come be part of the Kobop story.

2023 — The Beginning

Started as a tiny taco cart on VCU campus with just three tacos: Bulgogi Beef, Gochujang Pork, and Gochujang Tofu. Word spread fast, hype grew faster.
